ECIH – Certificate Incident Handler
EC-Council (ECC) focuses on providing educational services for Electronic Commerce and Security Professionals. Their curriculum seeks to develop the expertise required to build and manage an organization’s networking and security operations and to effectively utilize various resources to achieve operations excellence.
EC-Council considers itself a propagator of information exchange between members of the Electronic Commerce and Security industry. Facilitation of communication with regard to education and experience in this area is a mutually beneficial objective for the ECC and their associated community of IT professionals.
The EC-Council’s Certified Incident Handler certification is a program that will provide students the skills they will need in order to identify and minimize the damage caused by computer security incidents. This incident response course will cover the basics of computer security incidents, including introducing students to the different kinds of security incidents and the ways these incidents can expose an information system to the risks of unauthorized access or loss of information.
